It begins... got a 6-pack of rust reformer and another of flat black. New suspension bits, tires and fenders, this will be a multi-day project! Rust reformer wants 24 hours to try before spraying over.
Update - finally level, pulled all the wires back and cut the first fender off:
Update 3: it’s taking a really long time to grind the old welds down and get it ready to paint. Wiped out for the day, too hot, back feeling sore, more tomorrow...

I just pulled the old planks off. They are in surprisingly good shape for 25+ years. I’ll probably reuse the old ones for now.
